Party enthusiats will soon experience topnotch entertainment with the hosting of the inaugural Mpumalanga Cultural Experience at Mbombela Stadium later in the year.
Following the announcement made by Premier DD Mabuza during the 2016/17 State of the Province Address, the province is ready to host the cultural festival later in this year. According to the spokesperson of the department of Culture, Sport and Recreation, Sibongile Nkosi the cultural festival will be launched in October with the festivities getting underway in the first week of December. “We are giving our people a heads up to prepare for the biggest party yet in Mpumalanga,” says Nkosi.
The Mpumalanga Cultural Experience is aimed at bringing together the diverse people of the province to celebrate in song, dance and also attract visitors from outside to revel in the beauty of the province. “The festival will cater for various genres in the form of a comedy night, battle of DJs and music festival featuring top acts,” she explains.
