MBOMBELA – Mpumalanga Premier, DD Mabuza is expected to use this year’s Provincial Human Rights Day commemoration to highlight government’s effort in promoting human rights in society.

The premier, who will deliver the keynote address on the day, will share with the people of Mpumalanga the role government has played in ensuring that each and every citizen of the province enjoys human rights.

Says Culture, Sport and Recreation spokesperson, Sibongile Nkosi, “Human Rights Day is one of the most important national celebrated days in the country and the Mpumalanga Provincial Government will use it to bring services closer to the people of Kwaggafontein and surrounding areas, “ explained Nkosi, adding that the premier will be joined by members of his executive, including Culture, Sport and Recreation MEC, Norah Mahlangu-Mabena. 

As part of legacy projects, government will handover three houses to the community of Kwaggafontein.

Musa Sukwene and Simphiwe will take care of all entertainment rights for the patrons.
