Joint media advisory by the MEC for Community Safety, Security and Liaison, and SAPS Mpumalanga

Mpumalanga MEC for Community Safety, Security and Liaison, Mr. Jackie Macie and the Acting Provincial Commissioner for SAPS in Mpumalanga, Major General (Dr) Zeph Mkhwanazi will release the Crime Statistics for quarters from January to March 2024 and April to June 2024 on Thursday, 12 September 2024.

 

While reflecting on crime by presenting the statistics, both the MEC and the Acting Provincial Commissioner will also outline plans to address and stabilize crime in the province. They will reflect on areas where the province was able to reduce crime.

 

Members of the media will interact with the MEC and the Acting Provincial Commissioner during a media briefing that has been arranged as follows:
