Mpumalanga Premier David Mabuza’s legal team today [Monday, 19 February 2018] filed extensive opposing papers in the Carolina Magistrates Court on the matter opposing the interim protection order by a local businessman Mr Frederick Daniels against the Premier.
Premier Mabuza is confident that justice will be served well, on the allegations of harassment and intimidation by Mr Daniels.
The Court has reserved the judgment which will be delivered by Magistrate Sarel Grabe on 9 April 2018 because the counsel for the applicant, Adv Jacques Joubert, indicated that it was his first available date.
The court ruled that it was not necessary for the Premier to be present at court today.
