Premier Refilwe Mtshweni-Tsipane joins President Cyril Ramaphosa, and all other leaders in extending her heartfelt condolences to the Royal House and the Zulu nation on the passing of Ingonyama Goodwill Zwelithini kaBhekuzulu
The Premier learnt with profound and deep sadness, of the passing of Isilo Samabandla Onke Goodwill Zwelithini.
The Premier extends her condolences to the Zulu nation and all South Africans ngokukhothama kweZulu eLiphezulu whose selfless commitment to advancing the development of His people remained a definitive character trait.
“Isilo samabandla was an emissary of unity and peace at a time when this country was on the verge of a civil war. We have him to thank for being one of the fathers of our democratic dispensation. That he reigned for 53 years is testament of his wisdom, integrity and love for His people.” Said the Premier.
“May his soul rest in eternal peace and may we do justice to the gigantic legacy Isilo leaves behind” concluded the Premier.
