Mpumalanga Premier, Ms Refilwe Mtshweni-Tsipane will officiate the opening of a new clinic in Botleng Ext 6 in the Victor Khanye Local Municipality. 

The state-of-the-art clinic will operate 24hours, and will be providing comprehensive primary health care services for the local community. It consists of 12 consulting rooms, which cater for maternity, dental, emergency and pharmacy services. 

Mpumalanga Community Safety, Security and Liaison MEC Vusi Shongwe has lauded the fining of a prominent soccer player who was arrested for speeding. 

Nhlanhla Brilliant Khuzwayo was arrested by Mpumalanga traffic officers on 28 March 2016 on N3 Road between Heidelberg and Welge Toll Plaza for exceeding speed limit of 120 km/h by 163 km/h in his BMW. 

After appearing at the Balfour Magistrate Court on 31 March 2016, Khuzwayo was fined an amount of R10 000 and released on warning after pleading guilty to charges laid against him.
