Mpumalanga Premier DD Mabuza will lead the community launch of the newly opened Mpumalanga Traffic Training College (MTTC) this weekend. The college, which is located in Mkhuhlu in Bushbuckridge Local Municipality, is already functional and the first intake of traffic learner cops took place earlier this year.

MTTC was built with the aim of training traffic officers who will contribute towards road safety and law enforcement in the province and the country as a whole. It offers advanced driving while it also boasts an indoor shooting range.

The facilities at the college include auditoriums, sports grounds and a fitness gymnasium. The college also contributes immensely towards infrastructure development in the area while providing employment to the community.

Premier Mabuza will among others be accompanied by members of the Executive Council and National Transport Minister, Joe Maswanganyi and SAPS Provincial Commissioner, Lt. Gen Mondli Zuma.
