Mbombela – Mpumalanga Finance, Economic Development and Tourism MEC, Sikhumbuzo Eric Kholwane will honour tourism players and product owners at the second annual Lilizela Tourism Awards to be held in Mbombela next week.

The objectives of the Awards are:

  • To recognise and celebrate tourism excellence;
  • To encourage key players to strive for excellence in order to grow global competitiveness in tourism;
  • To reward the people who deliver excellence in tourism;
  • To give the industry added motivation and a reason to celebrate;
  • To give the public a voice that counts; and
  • To create awareness about the value and importance of tourism.
