Mbombela – The Mpumalanga Department of Economic Development and Tourism (the dedt) will conduct a series of business licensing workshops in the three District Municipalities of the Province, following the publication of new standardised draft by-laws for the township economy by the Minister of Corporative Governance and Traditional Affairs in November 2024. The by-laws, issued in accordance with the Local Government Municipal Systems Act of 2000, aim to create an enabling environment for small businesses in townships to support economic inclusion, job creation and community empowerment.
The workshops are scheduled as follows:
Ehlanzeni District
