Mpumalanga Premier, Ms Refilwe Mtshweni-Tsipane will on Monday visit the Themba Hospital at Kabokweni. This as the Provincial Government is stepping up measures to improve access to the hospital by patients and staff. Health services were interrupted due to security threats last week.
Premier Mtshweni-Tsipane will lead a delegation which includes MEC Sasekani Manzini of Health and MEC Vusi Shongwe of Community Safety, Security and Liaison. Senior officials of the Provincial Government, including the Acting Director General, Mr Peter Nyoni will also attend.
Earlier, MEC Manzini who visited the hospital premises, condemned the threats and further expressed commitment by the Provincial Government to address the matter.
