The Premier of Mpumalanga Mandla Ndlovu will tomorrow meet with the provincial head of the South African Police Service Major General Zeph Mkhwanazi, as well as Community Safety Security Liaison MEC Jackie Macie.
Premier Ndlovu’s meeting with Major General Mkhwanazi and MEC Macie is aimed getting and update on the state of crime prevention and other policing matters in the Province.
During his swearing in ceremony and announcement of Executive Council, Premier Ndlovu said crime and gender-based violence an femicide remains a serious concern and committed to make a call for an increase in police visibility and the strengthening of crime intelligence.
The Premier’s engagement with Major General Mkhwanazi and MEC Macie is part of the series of meetings he had been holding since the swearing in.
The leaders will hold a media briefing at the end of their meeting scheduled as follows;
