A total of 78 students will be ushered into the competitive Agro-Industry labour market during the 2013 Graduation Ceremony at the college this week. The graduation ceremony is an annual event aimed at conferring diplomas to students in line with the key mandate of the Colleges of Agriculture.
The 21st Graduation Ceremony will be a special occasion given a strong possibility that it would be the last LCA graduation under the status quo. Since its inception in 1991, the college has supported the Department of Agriculture, Rural Development and Land Administration with a pool of properly qualified graduates and farmers, who are currently contributing to, amongst others, the department’s quest to revitalize Land Reform farms, thereby ensuring food security in the province.
DARDLA MEC Mrs. V Siwela is expected to deliver a keynote address at the Graduation Ceremony.
The event is scheduled to be held as follows:
Date: Friday, 22 March 2013
Venue: LCA – Mail Hall, Nelspruit Campus
Time: 09: 00 – 13:00
All media houses are invited.
