The Department of Agriculture, Rural Development and Land Administration (DARDLA) in conjunction with Veterinary Services will be hosting the Provincial Abattoir Rating Scheme (PARS) Awards Ceremony.
The event is scheduled as follows:

TIME: 18h00
The event is aimed at awarding provincial abattoirs that ensure the correct application of the Hygiene Assessment System as it became a legal requirement in 2000, thus being included in the Meat Safety Act 40 and Regulations.
