Ikosi Sipho Mahlangu of Ndzundza-Mabusa Traditional Council will be launching the agrarian revolution programme and an eco tourism centre in Kwamhlanga. The programme is a poverty alleviation initiative for rural communities that promotes the use of land and domestic animals for farming in the rural areas, and is initiated through traditional leaders within their areas of jurisdiction.
The agrarian revolution was initiated by Ikosi Mahlangu when he was elected as Chairperson of the National House of Traditional Leaders (NHTL) and will be launched for the first time in Mpumalanga during the annual Ndzundza-Mabusa Heritage celebration. The launch will be attended by members of the Executive of the NHTL, the Executive of the Mpumalanga Provincial House of Traditional Leaders, Leadership of the Provincial and Local Government, Traditional Leaders around the country and the local community.
