Community Safety and Security Liaison
Media Advisory

Mpumalanga MEC for Community Safety, Security & Liaison, Pat Ngomane is giving back to a community where he comes from by participating in the renovations at one of the school that he once attended in Masibekela in Nkomazi Local Municipality.

The renovations at the school were mostly carried out by parolees from the Department of Correctional Service and local people who are assisting on voluntary basis. MEC Ngomane says he is supporting the school because he believes that education is the key for success.

According to Ngomane, one of the major reasons for this project is to promote the culture of learning and teaching especially in rural areas such as Masibekela. MEC Ngomane was concerned with the conditions of the school after it was built in the late 1970s. He says learners have the right to learn under a conducive environment so that their academic results could be favourable.

The media is invited to the launching of the project as follows;

Date: 4 October 2017
Time: 10h00
Venue: Mdzabu Secondary School, Masibekela (Nkomazi Local Municipality)
