Mpumalanga Community Safety, Security and Liaison MEC Pat Ngomane will host learners who were representing the province in the National Road Safety Debates and Participatory Education Techniques Competitions held in Rustenburg in the North West Province two weeks ago.
The MEC will use Friday’s opportunity not only to congratulate the learners but to further impress upon them to carry the road safety messages beyond debates and make it a way of life in their communities.
The learners won in categories: Best Team in PET: Rural and Best Team in the Rural Safety debate. The best overall winner in debates is also from the province.
