The Mpumalanga Department of Community Safety, Security and Liaison (DCSSL) advertised posts for the Basic Traffic Officers Diploma 2026/2027 in the Department of Public Service and Administration (DPSA) Circular on Friday, 9 October 2026.
The advertisement erroneously contained a dormant application link. As a result, no applications were received through the link.
DCSSL will issue an erratum to correct the advertisement in the next DPSA Circular. The corrected advertisement will contain a functional application link and a new closing date for the applications.
We wish to reassure members of the public and those wishing to apply for the programme that the advertisement was not a scam. The only challenge was a technical glitch with the application link.
