As part of the government’s commitment to restore dignity and property ownership to the people, the Mpumalanga Premier, Ms Refilwe Mtshweni-Tsipane, MEC for Human Settlements, Mr Speed Mashilo, together with Executive Mayor of Thembisile Hani Local Municipality, Cllr Lesetja Dikgale will issue over 2000 title deeds to beneficiaries of low-cost houses at Ekukhanyeni, Kwaggafontein. 

The event is scheduled as follows:

VENUE : Kwaggafontein C, Community Hall – Thembisile Hani Local Municipality  
TIME : 10:00 AM

A title deed is a legal document that ensures ownership of a property as it allows home owners to make decisions that will improve their living circumstances. The beneficiaries will also be able to use their title deeds to improve their dwellings, acquire household’s goods and make use of capital borrowing against their properties to start small businesses. Their households can also be used as an asset to build wealth. A total of 4500 title deeds have been planned to be issued during the current financial year.
