The MEC for Treasury, Mr Bonakele Majuba will on Monday 02 June 2025 lead a programme to raise awareness and land a hand to survivors of Gender-Based Violence and Femicide (GBV&F) in Nokaneng, Dr JS Moroka Local Municipality.
The GBV&F awareness programme is aligned to the national pledge that leaders and civil society signed to contribute to the fight against all forms of abuse and violence directed at women and other vulnerable groups.
The centres will each receive a donation of a fridge which will assist in keeping some food supplies in a good condition as support to the victims serviced by the centres.
MEC Majuba identified Tirisano Victim Empowerment Centre, Itumeleng Pensioners Forum, Morongwa Pre-School and Nokaneng Drop-in Centre for donations.
