The MEC for Finance, Mr. Bonakele Majuba, will on Wednesday, 11 March 2026, present the Provincial Budget for the 2026/2027 financial year to the Mpumalanga Legislature.
The Budget will detail the expenditure framework designed to advance the policy priorities highlighted by Premier Mandla Ndlovu during the State of the Province Address on 5 March 2026.
The formal tabling of the Provincial Budget before elected public representatives reaffirms Government’s commitment to transparency and accountability in the distribution and management of public finances.
Following the presentation of budget, the MEC - joined by senior officials from the Provincial Treasury - will host a media briefing to engage with journalists on the central themes and specific allocations contained in the budget.
