Mpumalanga MEC for Public Works Roads and Transport, Mr. Thulasizwe Thomo will handover power supply equipment to the MEC for Health, Ms. Sasekani Manzini for enhancing service delivery in the health sector during power outages.
The equipment, which consists of diesel generators and solar power systems, will assist various healthcare facilities across the province to strengthen energy resilience and ensure continuity of healthcare services.
The power supply systems were officially received by MEC Thomo on behalf of the Provincial Government from the Minister of Electricity, Dr. Kgosientsho Ramokgopa.
The handover programme is scheduled as follows:
