The Mpumalanga Department of Public Works, Roads and Transport, led by MEC Thulasizwe Thomo, will officially launch the 2025 October Transport Month on Tuesday, 07 October 2025, at 07h00, during an Inter-Provincial Law Enforcement Operation taking place at Grootvlei along the N3 road.
The launch will be conducted in collaboration with ( N3 Forum) law enforcement stakeholders from Gauteng, KwaZulu-Natal, and the Free State Provinces, marking a joint commitment to strengthening road safety, compliance, and cross-border law enforcement efforts on one of South Africa's busiest national routes.
This initiative forms part of the Transport Month Programme, which seeks to raise awareness about road safety, promote responsible driving behaviour, and highlight the Department's ongoing efforts to maintain and improve transport infrastructure across the province.
