Mpumalanga Premier, Mr Mandla Ndlovu, has discussed investment opportunities in Mpumalanga that will be of benefit to the people of Mpumalanga and the business community of India.

He engaged the Consul- General of India, Mr S Koventhan, and the India Business Forum in Mbombela on Wednesday, bringing to a close the province's engagements with the Indian delegation. The Forum brings together businesses from sectors including manufacturing, skills development and training, technology, mining and pharmaceuticals, among others.
Premier Ndlovu reflected on the Province's Investment Summit held last year in Middelburg, in which pledges to the value of R238 billion, were made by investors. He told the delegation about an investment book that the Province has developed, which makes it easier for investors to identify investment areas. India's high ranking official is the third diplomat to be hosted by Premier Ndlovu this year.
Chinese and British diplomats visited the Premier to strengthen bilateral relations and discussed investment opportunities extensively. On Tuesday, a business seminar and networking dinner took place, attended by MECs, the Director-General, Ms Maggie Skosana and Heads of Departments. The session was addressed by MEC for Economic Development and Tourism, Ms Jester Sidel.
