The Mpumalanga Provincial Government will host a Provincial Research Agenda (PRA) Round Table Discussion. The two-day strategic engagement will bring together stakeholders from various sectors to develop a comprehensive research framework for the province. 

The Premier, Mr. Mandla Ndlovu will address the session where, academic researchers, government representatives, industry leaders, district municipalities and community leaders will attend the gathering to identify and synthesize provincial research priorities that address the unique challenges and opportunities faced by the province. Reputable research institutions such as the Council for Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR), the National Research Foundation (NRF) and the Human Sciences Research Council (HSRC) will participate. 

The Premier, Mr. Mandla Ndlovu will address the session which seeks to establish a strategic framework that guides research efforts, fosters meaningful partnerships, and addresses the socio-economic and environmental needs of local communities. Expected outcomes include a clearly defined research framework, actionable insights for tackling provincial challenges, greater awareness of current research initiatives, and practical recommendations for sustainable development. A comprehensive report will be produced to shape future research and inform decision-making across the province.
