The Office of the Premier (OTP) in Mpumalanga will conduct roadshows throughout the province to encourage the youth to apply for the Mpumalanga Youth Development Fund (MYDF). This is the second year the OTP calls for MYDF applications. The deadline for new applications is 24 February 2023.
The fund serves as one of the initiatives by the OTP to address youth unemployment in Mpumalanga. Furthermore, it seeks to create economic opportunities for young people through entrepreneurship and encourage them to be job creators and not job seekers. Above R140 million has been spent to support at least ninety seven (97) youth-owned entities to date.
