Mpumalanga Premier, Mr Mandla Ndlovu will deliver the keynote address at the Annual official opening of the Provincial House of Traditional and Khoisan Leaders (MPHTKL) in the City of Mbombela on Wednesday. The opening ceremony marks a significant occasion to honour traditional leaders and their contribution to governance and community development.

It also serves as a platform to strengthen partnership between democratic and traditional leadership. The occasion will also be outlining government’s developmental and service delivery plans for rural communities. The institution of the traditional leadership is an integral part of South African’s Constitutional democracy, and it remains a vital for many communities.
