The Mpumalanga Premier, Mr. Mandla Ndlovu will on Tuesday, 15 September 2026 officiate the handover of a house in Bushbuckridge Local Municipality to a beneficiary of the Premier's ABSA Housing Project.
The initiative forms part of a collaboration between the Mpumalanga Provincial Government and Absa Bank aimed at providing housing to identified beneficiaries across the province.
Through this partnership, houses are being constructed for families identified by the Office of the Premier as being in need. The project targets vulnerable households, including those headed by pensioners and multi-generational families living in overcrowded and structurally unsound dwellings. The handover in Buffelshoek forms part of the Provincial Government's broader commitment to improving the living conditions of its most vulnerable citizens and demonstrates the value of public-private partnerships in accelerating access to adequate housing.
