Mpumalanga hosts National African Traditional Medicine Day Commemoration

The Mpumalanga Department of Health hosted the national commemoration of African Traditional Medicine Day at Kamhlushwa Stadium, under the theme: “Reflection on Research and Development Efforts of Traditional Medicine Towards Achieving Universal Health Coverage in the African Region.”

The commemoration brought together government representatives, traditional health practitioners (THP), researchers and communities to highlight the important role of traditional medicine in Africa and the need for stronger collaboration with the formal healthcare system.

MDOH’s response on allegations of non-service delivery by the EFF at Cathyvile clinic in Barberton

The Mpumalanga Department of Health (MDOH) would like to put the record straight to the public about the operations ( Health Service Delivery) at Cathyville Clinic ext 13 in Barberton. This follows false accusations by the Economic Freedom Fighters (EFF) that the Department is depriving residents of Extention 13 health services by operating the Cathyville Clinic for 8 hours a day.
